LEAP@Shrewsbury was recently formed to help better Thailand’s vast environment. Thailand is home to many unique species of animals and plants and suffers from a high level of carbon emissions on a daily basis. We will be attempting to aid Thailand's mission to become a more energy efficient and sustainable country. In the past, our school has hosted many beach cleanups, recycling projects and educational visits to better reduce the waste within Bangkok city. Given Thailand is among the top most polluted countries, we are going to be aiming at reducing the average thai citizens carbon footprint. We will be interested in trying to implement a water harvesting system as well as improving water usage among our school. We are hoping to make a difference in this world, and change it for the better.
