LEAP’s Greenwood branch, based around Greenwood High International School, Sarjapur, is focused on waste management and environmental awareness. The team aims to create a lasting legacy on their school and community, inspiring their peers and successors in times to come.

 

The Greenwood (GWH) branch emphasises awareness in waste management and recycling, believing they should be inculcated as a form of communal responsibility. They are working to reform their school’s waste system and to push students in the right direction through events and competitions.Greenwood High also has an extensive gardening culture. Their Kitchen Garden was created in 2015, and has demonstrated to many the significance and effort behind creating your meals from start to finish. It serves as a reminder to respect the agricultural process, especially the wealth of manual labour dedicated to rearing crops and conserving the environment.
